    ALEVE ARTHRITIS CAPLETS

    Active Ingredient(s)Purpose
    Naproxen Sodium 220 mgPain reliever/fever reducer

    Uses
    Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to
  • backache
  • headache
  • menstrual cramps
  • toothache
  • minor arthritis pain
  • muscle aches
  • common cold
  •  

    Directions
    Adult and child over 12 yearsTake 1 caplet every 8 to 12 hours. Do not exceed more than 2 caplets in any 8 to 12 hours, or 3 caplets in a 24 hours period.
    Adult and child over 12 yearsFor the first dose you may take 2 caplets within the first hour. The smallest effective dose should be used.
    Adult over 65 yearsTake 1 caplet every 12 hours. Do not exceed 1 caplet in 12 hours, unless directed by a doctor.
    Children under 12 yearsAsk a doctor

    Warnings
    Do Not Use
  • if you have had any allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer

  • Ask Doctor Before Use If you have
  • had problems or serious side effects from pain reliever/fever reducers
  •   

    Ask a Doctor or Pharmacist before use if you are
  • taking any other product containing naproxen sodium
  • taking other drugs on a regular basis
  • taking any other pain reliever/fever reducer
  • under a doctor's care for any continuing condition

  • When Using this Product
  • drink a full glass of water with each dose
  • do not exceed the recommended daily dosage unless directed by a doctor
  • may have severe allergic reactions: hives, facial swelling, wheezing, and shock
  • avoid alcoholic drinks

  • Stop Use and Ask Doctor If
  • an allergic reaction occurs seek medical help right away
  • any new or unexpected symptoms occur
  • symptoms continue or worsen
  • stomach pain occurs with the use of this drug or even mild symptoms persist
  • pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days
  • fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days
  • painful area is red or swollen
  • you difficulty swallowing or it feels like the pill is stuck in your throat
  • you develop heartburn

  • If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask health professional before use
    Keep out of reach of children
    In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away
